Well, really — what did you think? That it was all a contest, and I was just going to stop cold?
Nope. I intend to try to continue my quest to try to be just a little bit better than I was — well, than I was last time I checked. I’ll post some adventures now and again, and look to you all to report what’s happening in your world. Did you do something nice today? Don’t forget the “Your Good Deed” button at the top of the page. Somebody do something nice for you? Let ‘er rip — tell it!
In the meantime, here comes my story of what it was like to go to a Blind Book Club in 3…2…1!
I didn’t expect you to disappear! I can’t think of anything nice I did, but I was grateful for someone who waited a couple of minutes while the locksmith blocked his car and mine while getting me back into his car. It was a small gesture, but a sweet one that made me feel better about the day by far.
I look forward to reading about your further adventures in kindness to come!
Waiting without honking in New York!? That IS a kind gesture!
Thanks for checking in, Deb!
